Spoiler, thanks to Greysantanomyinsider….
Another spoiler has come to light regarding how the possible Grey’s Anatomy spin-off begins, and it comes from a fairly reliable source.
Not that this would be difficult to predict, but according to TV Guide spy Michael Ausiello, Addison comes to the conclusion that McSteamy a looooong way away from being ready to start a family and decides to hightail it out of Seattle Grace.
Dejected, she goes to Los Angeles to meet with one of the world’s foremost fertility experts.
This specialist also happens to be one of her oldest friends (one of many recently announced guest stars) and the owner of a brand new wellness center – which happens to be in the market for a neonatal surgeon.
The rest – if the ratings come through – will be history and a full season of the Kate Walsh-led series will commence in the fall.
As far as regular Grey’s Anatomy goes, Kristin Veitch of E! Online reports that – are you ready for this – George and Izzie actually fall in love. Gulp.

Whoa…. okay, you know when you’re surfing ABCMedianet, and they, like, throw out six press releases for one show all at once, and you start seeing strange shapes in your peripheral vision? No? Okay, maybe its just me. The point is Grey’s Anatomy is not ‘putting off’ a new episode of Grey’s as I told you yesterday, they are actually airing it EARLY! Yay! (Sorry for the panic.) The much anticipated Grey’s Anatomy ‘My Favorite Mistake’ was originally set to air on the 29th. In their wisdom, ABC has brought the all new episode of Grey’s Anatomy forward a week. This does mean an extra week of repeats until the series kicks in to its three part finale, but we can hack it if it means a little Gizzie hangover action, right?
After last week, Grey’s is just totally in an interesting space. I never felt the Gizzie thing would work personally, there isn’t enough oomph to that pairing. So I, for one, was anxious to see if Izzie was going to be gushing morning after regrets after her drunken tryst with George last week. The official ABC description goes like this:
George meets his new father-in-law (and is no condition to make a good impression), Alex helps Jane Doe determine how the world will see her from now on, the hospital board begins interviewing the candidates for the Chief’s position, and Izzie wrestles with a startling revelation.
Whoa. Looks like that baby is staying in the closet for a little while longer. Are they getting writing tips from the LOST room down the hall? Of course, ABC is NOT going to give up its big Grey’s Anatomy reveals in the descriptions so we can expect something, right?
Another thing to look forward to here is the Chief’s race. I’m expecting some pretty funny stuff to come from this. I miss my days in corporate America of watching people claw their way to the top. Should be interesting to see what folks are willing to do in the eleventh hour to get an advantage.

GA’s Stars get Big Raises (old but news)
It may be the hottest and most-watched drama on television, but the drama behind the scenes over at Grey’s Anatomy has rivaled most of the offerings on primetime. The latest news on the set is positive for most of the actors on the series — Ellen Pompeo, James T. Pickens Jr., Chandra Wilson, Justin Chambers and T.R. Knight have received major pay raises! Pompeo will bring home nearly $200,000 per episode, while her co-stars Wilson, Chambers, Pickens and Knight will take home roughly $125,000 per episode.
Patrick Dempsey, Sandra Oh and Katherine Heigl are still in negotiations and if you’ll remember, Heigl was pretty vocal about her status at the negotiation table last week. Kate Walsh will also receive a new salary bump, but due to her impending status on the Grey’s spin-off, those details were not released to the press. Isaiah Washington’s salary status is unknown at this time, but rumor has it that due to the Isaiahgate scandal that has plagued the series over the past few months, Washington may not receive a salary bump at all this year. Let’s hope that under the terms of the revised contracts, the cast must stay clear of negative press for a while.
