Pay Raise for “Grey’s Anatomy” Stars

The cast of the hit TV medical drama Grey’s Anatomy has been given a huge pay raise.
The show’s star, bride-to-be Ellen Pompeo, has closed a new deal that will earn her almost $200,000-per-episode, according to trade paper The Hollywood Reporter, while cast mates Chandra Wilson and James Hickens Jr. have secured raises to $125,000.
Producers are close to securing similar deals with cast members Justin Chambers and T.R. Knight.
The pay increases come a week after details of a salary dispute between ABC bosses and Grey’s Anatomy star Katherine Heigl were leaked to the press.
Heigl, Sandra Oh, Isaiah Washington and Patrick Dempsey are among those still negotiating new deals
Personally I would like to see the original cast do what the Friends cast did and that is go in as a team…but that is my opinion.
